I scrapped!!!

There is a crop going on at ACOT....WoooooHooooo....
As soon as I found out, I went out and bought a wireless router! So anyway, I'm moving at a snails pace, but here is the only challenge I was able to complete...

Spanish Springs

Last night we met up with Eileen and Dave at Margarita republic in Spanish Springs. Scooter the DJ was performing....very entertaining! Here are some pictures I took when we first got there...




And the pics wouldn't be complete unless I showed you all of the golf cart parking...and a really cool golf cart!


Best part was that we got to take a ride in one....that's right, Eileen and Dave have one! It's nice having connections!

So unfortunately I don't have any pictures of this but we got to see the space shuttle launch last night from our balcony!! It was AMAZING!!! I couldn't believe how much we were able to see!!

Sunday

Yesterday afternoon we went and checked out Lake Sumter Landing. It is funny because it is like 2 miles away but we haven't been there yet! Anyway it is soooo beautiful there! So many shops and restaurants! And it was made to look like the Florida Keys...here are a few pics that probably don't do it justice...

I wa impressed how everyone was line dancing and they all knew the moves....until it suddenly occurred to me they were just doing the "electric slide" to "ride Sally ride"!!

This past weekend...

was awesome!! We were able to accomplish so much! The apartment is really starting to come together! We got these awesome place mats and a plant that we still need to transfer into the pot....

Yesterday

We went to the movies to see district 9..... Reallyyyy good! The movie theater was in "Spanish Springs" right down the road.... Sooooooo awesome! We walked around a little after and found this awesome wine shop called "put a cork in it".... It's a cute place where you can hang out and taste a bunch of wines or even order a glass. Uncle John and Aunt Laura.... It's similar to "The Grape Merchant" in the Promenade.
Anyway here is a pic in front of a cool fountain we were trying to take...

NY bound..... Eventually

We are delayed.... BooHoo! We were supposed to depart at 8:20.... Then they switched it to 8:40..... Now they are sayin our plane will be here at 8:50... And that when we will board! I say, they are wimps who won't change the departure time till 9:20 cuz they are scared of disgruntled passengers! I'm no fool! On the plus side the sunset is absolutely incredible and this pic doesn't do it justice....
