So Johns house is AMAZING!!! It is on top of a mountain overlooking the rockies.....sooooooo incredible!!! We are going to wake up early tomorrow to take a walk and some pictures. It stinks that we are only here for such a short amount of time because there is just SO much to see!!! So for now....these are the pictures that I have uploaded from Stephen's camera (the first one is similar to the ones from my last post but MUCH better quality)!
Here is what we saw when we walked out of Target....
And these are the first two pictures that I took as soon as we got to John's house....it was starting to get dark out so they aren't so great but I promise better ones for tomorrow!!
Isn't it crazy that this is the view from John's patio and driveway! Whoaaaa! Anyway I got to meet all the people here and everyone is soooooo nice! It is going to be a fun time in Moab! There is ONE minor thing that I didn't take into consideration and that is "altitude sickness"!! Ahhhhh no fun! The only symptom that I have is headache and dizzyness..... and the advil took care of the headache!!! I am so dizzy it sorta sucks.....and I'm sure being exhausted doesn't help. His house is pretty big and there are a lot of people here that are crashing for the night....we are going to be in the den which is fine except for the fact that we can't actually go to sleep till everyone else does! Right now they are all watching off-roading videos! Don't forget....it is only 10:45 here right now! I decided to stay on Eastern Time Zone time....becuase it will be easier for me to wake up....but I get sleepy too early, so I may want to reconsider! Anywho...I'm going to call it a night "blog-wise"! It has been a very eventful day! It is so weird to think that we are on top of a mountain right now....so cool though! So goodnight everyone! Sweet dreams and I'll be talking to you on the road tomorrow! We are leaving here for Moab around 10:00 and it is about a 5.5 hour drive! Can't wait!
I SO wish I was there! I know what you mean about the altitude sickness. It takes some getting use to. The air gets thinner and it can wear you out pretty quick. Shouldn't take you too long to adjust. I know those guys are crazy so I hope they let you get SOME sleep. If not just give them a smack and tell em it's from me :) Can't wait to see the pics from tomorrow - you are going to have so much fun!
